Scotland’s national team coach Stephen Gertsen is looking to increase opportunities for Inverness residents to play table tennis by running a monthly session at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club.

The Welshman says that despite there not being a table tennis presence in the city, he has been doing his best to raise the sport’s profile since he moved to the Highlands three years ago.

“There hasn’t been much going on in Inverness historically I don’t think, but since I’ve come here I’ve tried to get things going in the area.
