Ali MacKinnon’s penalty put Social Club ahead in the first half, but Jess Glass equalised before half time and an own goal, Liam Smith and Tony Moir completed the comeback after the break.

Sam’s manager Ashley Hollyer was delighted with his team’s display, saying: “I thought we dominated the first half even against the wind, we created the majority of the chances.

“We knew with the wind behind us in the second half there was no reason why we couldn’t push on and win convincingly.”

The Consolation Cup final was postponed.
