Highland went in front in the first half with Grant Jamieson galloping in from the 22 to give them a 5–0 lead.

However, Dundee immediately responded with an unconverted try as both teams went into the break level at 5–5.

Highland retook the lead in the second half with Gordon Gregor breaking the line to go in by the posts. Scott Fraser converted to give them a 12–5 lead.

Magnus Henry extended Highland’s lead to 12 points after squeezing into the wide left.

Dundee reduced the deficit to five points with a converted try.

But Highland pulled away and secured a bonus try point after Jamieson offloaded to Jonny Milton who sprints up on the inside to score.

Hugo Crush then killed the game off to secure victory for Highland with their fifth try.

Highland remain in fifth place, but only one point behind Gala in fourth. Their final game is against league leaders Kelso in Inverness on Saturday, April 15.

Meanwhile, in North Region League Division Three Top Play-Off, Highland 3rd XV secured a 24–5 win over Dyce.

The win moves the Sea Eagles up to fifth place in the six-team table. They are in action on Saturday as they take on Deeside at Canal Park.

Inverness Craig Dunain are scheduled to play on Saturday in North Region League Division Three Bottom Play-Off when they tackle Aberdeen University Medics as they look to close out the season with some positive results after a disappointing campaign.
