Victory in Dundee will guarantee a top-five finish this season for the Inverness outfit and give them a chance of finishing in fourth place if they can win their final game of the season against league leaders Kelso at Canal Park on Saturday, April 15.

Head coach Dave Carson says Highland are determined to finish the campaign on a positive note, looking for an impressive performance in Dundee tomorrow.

He says with Kelso looking to win the league title, Highland’s final game in two weeks time could be a massive crowd puller at Canal Park.

“Dundee is the final trip down the A9 this season,” he said.

“It will be a tough clash as they played Glasgow Hawks in the Scottish Cup and only lost by six points.

“They are going well just now, they are a tough physical side to play against.

“However, we are looking for five points against Dundee and then that will set us up nicely for the final game against Kelso in Inverness.

“That match will be a big occasion for us as well as for them.

“Kelso are five points ahead of Ayr and they have played the same amount of games.

“But their points difference is far superior to Ayr, so they only really need to win one of the final two matches.

“However, we are looking to finish the season on a high.”

“The only team that has beaten us home and away this season have been Melrose.

“We have only lost once at home this season and that is a record that we want to keep going.

“Our match against Kelso will be a big occasion and i’m sure that it will draw a big crowd, with a big away support coming up from Kelso.”
