HIGHLAND Rugby Club will look to bounce back from their agonising defeat at champions Ayr when they are on the road again to face Glasgow High Kelvinside tomorrow afternoon in National One.

The Inverness club returned to action from the winter break last week when they suffered a narrow 12-10 defeat to Ayr at Millbrae.

Despite going down 12-0 down early in the game, Highland reduced the gap to two points with a try from Adriu Muritoki along with a conversion and penalty from Dan Corr.

Highland won a penalty in injury time, but Corr’s effort hit the post as they had to settle for a losing bonus point.

Highland proved too good for GHK earlier this season as they stormed to a 50-21 victory at Canal Park in Inverness.

GHK have had a poor season as they find themselves at the bottom of the table and facing relegation.

Elsewhere in National One tomorrow, champions Ayr face Watsonians in Edinburgh, Dundee take on Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians and Gala are set to take on Melrose in a derby in the Borders.

In Caledonia One, Highland 2nd XV head north to take on Caithness in Thurso.

Highland find themselves in third place in the table, but 22 points behind leaders Moray in the North Conference.

The top three teams from the North Conference will take on the top three teams from the Midlands Conference at the end of the regular season to decide the final placings in Caledonia One.

In Caledonia North Two, Highland 3rd XV are set to take on Kinloss Eagles at Canal Park in Inverness.

Highland 3rd XV are in third place, six points behind Kinloss Eagles in second, but have played one game more.

The top two teams in the Highlands and Islands Conference and Grampian Conference will face each other to determine the final placings.

Inverness Craig Dunain in fifth are set to take on Skye which is also scheduled to be taking place at Canal Park with both kick-offs at 2pm.

In Women North Region One, Inverness Craig Dunain are set to take on Aberdeenshire Quines at Millburn Academy with kick-off tomorrow at 1.30pm
