TEENAGE winger Alex Cooper will be included in Ross County’s squad to face Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup third round tomorrow.

The 19-year-old, who came through the youth system at Dingwall, has re-signed for the Staggies until the end of the season after a spell at English Premier League side Liverpool.

County manager Derek Adams will put him straight into his plans for tomorrow’s cup tie at Victoria Park.

Cooper, who is the son of former Aberdeen midfielder Neale Cooper, joins the youthful ranks at the Scottish First Division leaders, which includes the likes of Jonathan Flynn (22), Joe Malin (23), Kurtis Byrne (21), Archie MacPhee (18), Iain Vigurs (23) and Steven Ross (19).

The Scotland under-16 internationalist made the move to Anfield in 2007, when Liverpool paid £100,000 for his services.
