Ross County attacker Regan Charles-Cook has been targeted by online trolls posting racist abuse online.

The forward had scored in a dramatic 3–3 draw the Staggies played out against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon, with leaving the pitch at full time to see the messages.

County announced they would be working with the police to ensure that those who sent messages are "properly dealt with".

At the start of the match against Rangers, broadcast on television, both sides had shown their solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement by taking a knee.

Since the Staggies' statement on their social media channels, messages of support have been coming in for Charles-Cook from teammates and fans alike.
