Ross County sign Eamonn Brophy on loan from St Mirren

Ross County have confirmed the signing of striker Eamonn Brophy on loan from St Mirren until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has made over 200 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, with his best form coming at Kilmarnock under now-Scotland manager Steve Clarke when he fired them to European football with 11 goals in the 2018-19 campaign.
More recently, he has been in Paisley with St Mirren, making 58 appearances in all competitions over the last two years and scoring eight goals.
On top of his club form, Brophy was also capped for Scotland in a 2–1 win over Cyprus in June 2019, having previously made several appearances for the under-21s and under-19s.
Malky Mackay told the club's website: “It’s great to bring somebody with Eamonn’s experience to Dingwall.
"He will be a big asset for us in the second half of the campaign and we know that he can add something different to our group.
“Eamonn is proven at this level and has consistently performed in the Premiership for several years which has also seen him recognised at international level and we are delighted to have him here for the remainder of the campaign.
"Eamonn is also a player I got to know well through his youth caps with Scotland, so I know the qualities he has.
“I would like to thank Stephen Robinson and Keith Lasley at St Mirren for working with us to make this move happen.”
