Ross County forfeit League Cup group stage clash with Dundee due to impact of Covid

Ross County have forfeited their Premier Sports Cup clash with Dundee as players continue to recover from the effects of COVID-19 infection.

The Staggies announced this afternoon that they would not be able to fulfil the fixture on Sunday due to the impact of positive cases.

It follows Ross County being forced to forfeit their first group stage game against Forfar Athletic which resulted in the League Two outfit being awarded a 3–0 win.

Dundee are also likely to be awarded a 3–0 win and with two defeats Ross County are likely to be eliminated from the competition without kicking a ball.
