Ross County remain in the relegation zone in the Scottish Premiership after conceding their lead twice at Livingston on Tuesday night.

Simon Murray scored twice for the Staggies to cancel out Scott Pittman's equaliser at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

But a late equaliser from Daniel MacKay gave Livingston a share of the points,

The draw means Ross County stay in 11th place, two points behind St Johnstone and Motherwell but have a game in hand,

But they remain six points above Livingston who are at the foot of the table.

Ross County do have a game in hand on both Motherwell and St Johnstone, with Livingston now nine points adrift at the bottom

Ross County took the lead just before the half hour mark when Murray connected with a cross from Yan Dhanda and fired into the net.

The goal was originally disallowed for offside, but after a VAR check was allowed to stand.

But Livingston equalised just before half time when Jamie Brandon's cross was headed by Kurtis Guthrie and Scott Pittman fired into the net.

Murray regained the lead for County with six minutes remaining with a spectacular volley.

But Daniel MacKay equalised in the 86th minute to give Livingston a point.
