ROSS County have added to their squad with former Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City winger Chris Burke joining until the end of the season.

Burke, who came through Rangers' youth setup, has been a free agent since being released by Forest at the end of last season.

A former Scotland international, Burke brings a wealth of experience to the Dingwall club, having played well over 300 games in his career.

Alongside Forest and Birmingham, Burke has also played for Cardiff City and spent the latter half of last season on loan at Rotherham.

If deemed fit enough by manager Jim McIntyre, he could be included in Saturday's squad for the game against St Johnstone, where another free agent signing, Ryan Dow, is also awaiting his debut.
