Caley Thistle manager Robertson wary of Morton's form at Cappielow

John Robertson will warn his Caley Thistle players to beware a very different beast in Morton tomorrow to the one twice ruthlessly tamed earlier in the season.

The Cappielow club currently languish third bottom in the Championship table, just two points above bottom place.

In late August and early September, the Greenock side were hammered 5-0 and 3-1 in Inverness in league and cup action, but are yet to taste defeat at home this season in any competition.

For Robertson, eager to return to winning ways, it is vital his men exploit the same weaknesses they did so effectively at home.

The Caley Thistle manager said: “We have had two good results against Morton, but they’re a different animal at home. They haven’t lost at Cappielow all season.

“That’s warning enough for us. They have a very strong home record and we’ve got to be prepared for that."
