Robertson calls for more hunger from Inverness Caledonian Thistle players
JOHN Robertson reckons it is time for Caley Thistle’s players to show they crave success as much as the fans and staff working to drive the club forwards.
The Inverness manager laid bare the depth of hurt he felt after a miserable 3–0 beating by Arbroath last weekend.
With a dive in form bringing three defeats from four in the league, Robertson wants his squad to “find the hunger and desire” to lift fortunes after slipping 10 points behind Dundee United.
Tomorrow brings a first opportunity for recompense, albeit in the Challenge Cup quarter finals, as League One Clyde come calling.
Robertson feels the players must prove they care as much as the supporters and people working tirelessly behind the scenes to improve the club’s financial stability.
