A RECORD level of participants is expected at the South Highland Inter-School Championships for primary youngsters at Bught Park this Saturday (28th May).

Forty schools will provide more than 900 athletes for the annual event which starts at 10am.

Cancer support charity Maggie’s Highland will benefit from cash raised at the catering stall, which will be run by volunteers from Johnston Carmichael chartered accountants.

Staff from the Hilton Coylumbridge and their recently appointed Blue Energy Committee will help at the event as part of their commitment to the community.
