Rally duo driving towards third Scottish title

INVERNESS co-driver Paul Beaton and Euan Thorburn will be looking to take it easy as they drive towards their third Scottish Rally Championship title.

Tomorrow, they can regain their national crown if they finish at least ninth at the Grampian Rally at Crathes.

Beaton, along with Duns driver Thorburn, have been dominant during the 2019 season.

They have won all but one of the championship rounds.

Their push to win the championship has been made simpler with the withdrawal of their nearest challengers Garry Pearson and Dale Bowen.

Beaton says that has made their target of becoming national champions much easier.
