Highland head coach Dave Carson hopes to add a dash of Fijian flair for this weekend’s National League Two visit of Peebles.

Rupeni Rokodugini, a Black Watch serviceman, is back stationed at Fort George and keen to rejoin the Canal Park side he last starred for three years ago.

Carson is delighted by the prospect, but needs to complete the winger’s registration in time for Saturday’s match.

The prospective signing is brother of Bath and England international winger Semesa Rokodugini.

Carson said: "Rupeni was a great player for us a few years ago and it will be great to have him back."
