NEWLY-APPOINTED Ross County captain Paul Quinn is relishing the chance to guide his team to further victory in 2016.

The 30-year-old defender rejoined the club on an 18-month contract after agreeing his release from Aberdeen in January of this year.

Born in Wishaw, Quinn has enjoyed spells at Motherwell, Cardiff City and Doncaster Rovers. He also spent a season with Ross County before joining Aberdeen last summer.

However, Quinn made his grand return to the Staggies just in time to help the club lift their first-ever Scottish League Cup.
