Football club Clachnacuddin appeal to public to help them find their Highland League Championship flags for football history exhibition at Inverness Archive Centre
CLACHNACUDDIN are appealing to the public to help them find their Highland League championship winning flags for a football history exhibition at Inverness Archive Centre.
The Merkinch outfit are involved in organising the exhibition at the archive centre but are the only club not able to display a league championship flag.
Highland League championship flags from Caledonian in the 1982-83 season and Inverness Thistle in the 1986-87 season are on display.
Clachnacuddin are trying to find a flag from their title winning seasons and are appealing for their whereabouts in particular their last two from the 1974-75 and 2003-04 seasons.
Clachnacuddin jointly hold the record for most Highland League wins on 18 with Caledonian.
Anyone in possession of one of the championship flags is asked to hand them into the Inverness Archive Centre so the club can be represented at the exhibition.
