County chairman Roy MacGregor says the club need to return to the Scottish Premiership within a year.

Ross County chairman Roy MacGregor said it is vital that the club get back into the Scottish Premiership at the first time of asking.

The Staggies will lose £1.5 million for being relegated from the top flight after six years playing with the elite of Scottish football.

MacGregor also says the club could slash its playing budget by up to 50 per cent due to falling into the Championship.
