Highland’s outside centre Rory Cross has spoken about how the disappointment of last week’s cancellation permeated throughout the squad.

It was set to be a big day at Canal Park as they hosted St Boswells knowing that a win would guarantee Highland the National Three league title.

But with just 24 hours notice Boswells called the fixture off, highlighting their inability to raise a team as the reason they couldn’t travel north.
