Portland A will face Jackos in Supreme Cup final

Portland A continued in their quest to win a 13th Supreme Cup with a 10–2 victory over East End Arrows in their last four match.

The teams scored two maximums each with Doug Milne and Shane Wharton for Portland and Nigel McEwan and Marc Henderson for the Arrows.

Portland’s Nicky Denoon had a 114 checkout, team-mate Kevin Maclean checked 112 while Milne also finished on 112 and Henderson had a 13-dart leg.

Facing Portland in the final will be Nairn team Jackos who defeated Still Game 7–3 in their match. Andy Leckie had a 180 for the Still Game lads and Jim McNair checked out on 142 for Jackos.

In the Consolation Trophy, the semi final line-up will be Castle Street Elite versus Battlefield Bullies and Innes Bar versus Thistle Inn.

Castle Street beat British Legion 8–4 in their quarter final while their semi final opponents beat 3 Scots 11–1 to reach the semi final.

Fixtures have been postponed tonight in memory of Evan MacDonald who passed away on Friday.

He represented Inverness and Highland at Super League and county level and also won several championships.
