NAIRN Turkey Trot returned to action for the first time in three years as 160 runners took part in the five kilometre competition on Boxing Day at The Maggot.
The race was only able to go ahead after a large tree that fell across the Riverside path on Saturday morning was removed.
The event was a predictive time race so the winners are those that get closest to predicted time not necessarily those fastest round the course.
Two men both finished exactly on their predicted time with C Mcpherson Stuart finishing in 19:57 and George Sneddon on 23:35.
Sneddon's name was pulled from the hat to win the knitted turkey.
The closest female to predicted time was Jenny Bannerman who predicted 19:12 and finished in 19:16.
Thomas Doney was the fastest male overall in 16:29 with Caitlyn Heggie fastest woman in 19:08.
Helen Aslett won the best fancy dress competition.
