PICTURES: Inverness Royal Academy hosts top badminton players in the Highlands

PLAYERS from across the Highlands took part in the Highland Badminton Group Junior Restricted Championship at Inverness Royal Academy.

A total of 71 children entered from across the Highlands and Islands, including Barra, Lewis, Skye, Inverness, Moray and

Caithness took part.

The big winners at the tournament included treble’s winners Callum McWhirter, Moray and Chloe Mackenzie, Caithness

in the under-19s and Isla Johnson, Moray in the Under-15s. There were two doubles winners with Sophie Mackay Caithness in the under-13s and Drew Murdoch, Moray in the Under-15s.
