PICTURES: All the winners from the 2024 McRobert Cup in Inverness!
HUNDREDS of kids competed in one of the biggest school athletics events in the Highlands.
The McRobert Cup took place as children from primary schools based in Inverness and surrounding areas took part at Torvean Park on Wednesday morning.
The races were divided into individual competitions for Primary Four and Five age group as well as Primary Six and Seven age group.
In addition, team competitions were divided into two sections with section one for small schools and section two for large schools.
In the Primary Four and Five girls race, Kyla Grant of Milton of Leys Primary School was the winner.
Mirabelle Tremarco of Milton Leys was in second place with Ellie Micheal of Holm Primary in third place.
In the Primary 4/5 Boys Race, Kirkhill Primary school pupil Oscar Jesionowski claimed victory.
Gregor Cameron of Crown Primary School was in second place with Archie Craig of Farr Primary School in third.
In the Primary Six and Seven Girls Race, Niamh Doorley of Bun-Sgoil GhĂ idhlig Inbhir Nis claimed the gold medal after winning the race. Lyla Souter of Holm was in second place with Eilidh Offord of Kirkhill in third.
In the Primary Six and Seven Boys race, Archie Grant was crowned champion with Riley Davidson from Drakies in second place with Finlay Craig from Farr Primary School in third place.
In the team competitions, Ness Castle were crowned Primary Four and Five Section One Girls Champions with Tomnacross in second place and Glenurquhart in third place.
In Section Two, Milton of Leys claimed the girls' title with Holm in second place and Lochardil in third place.
Kirkhill were crowned Primary Four and Five Boys' Section One champions with Cawdor in second place and Tomnacross in third.
In Section Two, Crown claimed the Primary Four and Five Boys' title with Drakies in second place and Duncan Forbes Primary School in third place.
In the Primary Six and Seven Section One Girls' competition Kirkhill Primary School were crowned champions with Tomnacross second and Farr third.
In the Section Two Girls' category Holm claimed the title with Crown second and Inshes in third place.
In the Primary Six and Seven Boys competition, Farr Primary School claimed the Section One title with Cawdor second and Glenurquhart third.
In Section Two, Lochardil Primary School won gold with Crown second and Milton of Leys in third place.
