Jordan MacDonald reckons tomorrow’s trip to face Brora Rangers should hold no fear for his young side after Tuesday night’s honourable Inverness Cup defeat.

The Lilywhites were ultimately overpowered by Premiership Caley Thistle, but produced some fine play in a highly-competitive 90 minutes.

After recent setbacks, it was much more like the real Clach for manager MacDonald.

“We’re going into a tough game, but it’s one we’re not frightened of,” he said.

“I firmly believe we can win it.

“Brora are a good team and there’s no getting away from it, but we’re going there, as we do every week, to try and win.

“We can be frustrating to watch at times, but we know we need to be brave on the ball, get the ball down and move it quickly and be tight at the back.

“Their front three of Andy (Macrae), Jordan (MacRae) and Tony (Dingwall) will have half a chance and it’s in the back of the net. We need to be at it.”
