NICK Ross netted a double in a 2-2 friendly draw at Bristol Rovers last night to maintain Caley Thistle’s unbeaten pre-season run.

Inverness came from behind twice at Twerton Park in their second match of their three-game tour of England.

The League Two hosts broke the deadlock with a Scott McGleish penalty in 26 minutes, after Ross Tokely felled Mustapha Carayol in the box.

Ross levelled five minutes after the interval with a header.

Kayne McLaggon fired Rovers back in front in 72 minutes after he beat David Proctor and chipped over Jonny Tuffey.

Caley Thistle responded well with Jonny Hayes bursting forward and playing in Ross for a close range finish to level things again.

Inverness’s final friendly of the tour is at Aldershot Town tomorrow (3pm kick-off).
