Nairn teenager Calum Scott loses quarter final match as Amateur Championship dream is over

Calum Scott's amazing run at the Amateur Championship came to an end as he lost his quarter final match at Nairn Golf Club.

The Nairn teenager bowed out of the competition at the last eight stage losing 2&1 to Welshman James Ashfield.

Scott was the fifth seed going into the matchplay stages of the competition, beating England's Conor Gough in the last 64, Iceland's Hlynur Bergsson in the last 32 and Harley Smith in the last 16.
