Nairn darts player knocks out rivals to win Boxing Day Cup in Inverness

Nairn darts player Michael Maclean claimed victory in the Boxing Day Cup held at the Innes Bar in Inverness.

The Seaforth player came out on top in an exciting final when he defeated the 2018 champion Robert Mackenzie, 5-3.

Semi-finalists were Kyle Maclennan from Raigmore and visiting player Bob Baird from Glasgow.

In the doubles competition Still Game pair Hugh Graham and Andrew Davidson defeated Sandy Morrison and Brian McClaig in the deciding leg of the final.

Making up the last four were Alan Imlach and Allan Fraser along with Michael Maclean and Daniel McDermott.
