GOALS in the second half gave Nairn County victory over Wick Academy at Station Park in the Highland League on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, George Robesten on loan from Ross County, put Nairn in the lead in the 56th minute.

However, they did not kill off the game until injury time when Ciaran Young connected with Angus Dey's pass to score and secure a 2-0 win.

Meanwhile, former player Conor Gethins took charge of his first game as manager of Clachnaucddin as they lost 3-1 to Peterhead in the Scottish Cup second round.
