Nairn County win eight-goal thriller against Turriff United to finish in top half of Highland League

Nairn County came from behind to win a thriller at Station Park and finish eighth in the Highland League.

Turriff United took the lead after six minutes when Rory Brown scored from the penalty spot.

But Nairn were only behind for six minutes when Conor Gethins equalised also from the penalty spot.

Nairn took the lead seven minutes from half time when Ciaran Young scored and made it 3–1 two minutes into the second half through Andrew Greig.

John Treasurer made it 4–1 in the 54th minute, but Turriff stormed back with goals from Callan Gray and Ethan Smith.

But Young scored his second of the game nine minutes from time to secure Nairn victory.
