Nairn County started their Highland League campaign with a confidence boosting victory against Keith at Kynoch Park.

The visitors broke the deadlock with 17 minutes remaining when Liam Shewan found the net.

Seamus McConaghy doubled their advantage six minutes later as Nairn comfortably saw out the game to claim all three points.

Nairn County return to action on Wednesday night when they host Lossiemouth in the first round of the North of Scotland Cup at Station Park.
