NAIRN County are set to give fans the chance to have their picture taken with the North of Scotland Cup before tomorrow’s clash against Forres Mechanics at Station Park.

Nairn won their first trophy in 11 years when they defeated Ross County 5-4 in the North of Scotland Cup final in Inverness on Sunday.

The club will give fans the opportunity to have their picture taken with the photo between 2pm and 2.45pm at Station Park.

Nairn County are on a good run of form having won their last six matches in all competitions as they have moved up to sixth place in the league.

Manager Steven Mackay said he wants his team to use last Sunday’s cup win as a springboard to further success in the future.

“That is what it is all about,” said Mackay.

“We want to be challenging and not just for North of Scotland Cups.

“We want to be challenging for the Highland League Cup and Highland League.

“That is the pressure we put on ourselves and the expectations we have which is fine. We want to be challenging for leagues and trophies.”
