Mowi continue to sponsor shinty after extending contract with Camanachd Association for three more years encompassing senior leagues, women's shinty, youth development fund and disability festival

Mowi's long-standing sponsorship of shinty is set to continue for a few more years, with the Camanachd Association announcing a new agreement between the two parties for a further three years.
The world leading aquaculture and seafood company are the longest standing sponsor of a Scottish sport with this new contract marking 38 years of support for shinty.
Mowi CEO Ben Hadfield said: “We are pleased to announce the further three-year extension of Mowi's sponsorship for shinty.
"The sport embodies our company values, including passion, and is a cornerstone of many of the communities in which Mowi operates.”
The sponsorship agreement, which runs until 2026, will cover: Senior league competitions; the youth leagues; the Mowi National Shinty Awards; the recently revitalised Mowi Shinty Hurling International; as well as the Mowi Youth Development Fund, Area Development Grant and the newly sponsored Disability Festival.
This sponsorship agreement is in addition to a five-figure investment from Mowi earlier this year which was used to subsidize the cost of helmets, making them more affordable and accessible to players.
