FORT William have made two summer signings to boost the Highland League club – on and off the park.

Midfielder Kieran Forbes (18), who has signed a two-year contract extension, was a regular at the start of the season, but then picked up an injury that curtailed his involvement, however he is now fully fit and raring to go.

The Claggan Parkers have also announced the addition of Liam Paterson to its backroom staff. The 22 year-old will assume the position of physio when the new season starts at the end of July.

Not only is he the son of Fort goalkeeping legend and coach Jimmy Paterson, he is also the manager of Inverness Thistle, who play in the Inverness Amateur League.

Their confirmed friendly fixtures are – Friday, June 17 – Porth Tywyn Suburbs (at Lochaber High School, 7pm), Saturday, June 25 – Alloa Athletic (away, 3pm), Saturday, July 2 – East Kilbride (away, 3pm), Tuesday, July 19 – St Duthus (away, 7.30pm), Saturday, July 23 – Kinoull Juniors (away, 3pm).
