Ross County's match against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Dens Park failed a pitch inspection which was held at 9.30am on Saturday morning as a result of the heavy rain which has battered the country overnight.

The Staggies now face another two weeks for their next match due to the international break when they will take on St Mirren in Dingwall on Saturday, October 21.

Matches involving Ross-shire clubs in the North Caledonian League have also been affected.

The Football Times Cup semi final between Golspie Sutherland and Invergordon is off as well as the league clash between Fort William and St Duthus.

Alness United's game against Inverness Athletic is still on and is scheduled to take place at Dalmore Park at 1pm.
