Legends are inducted into the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Hall of Fame

CHARLIE Christie and Ross Tokely have been inducted into the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Hall of Fame at a special awards ceremony held on Saturday night.

The duo received the most votes from the public to receive the Legends Awards at the ceremony which was held at MacDonald Drumrossie Hotel in Inverness.

Christie (53) was part of the Inverness Caledonian Thistle squad during the first 10 seasons in the Scottish Football League playing 314 games and scoring 34 goals and previously played for Caledonian and Inverness Thistle. His association with the club continues today as he works as its head of youth development.

Ross Tokely (40) holds the record number of appearances for Inverness Caledonian Thistle having played 589 games over 16 seasons scoring 36 goals.

He is the only player to appear and score for the club through all four league divisions and has a championship medal from Division Three and two from Division One.

Former Inverness Thistle captain David Milroy and Caledonian striker Billy Urquhart received special Heritage Awards.

The Most Memorable Moment Award went to James Vincent for his Scottish Cup final winning goal against Falkirk at Hampden in 2015.

Former Scotland international Colin Hendry was guest speaker.
