The big match in the Inverness Pool premier league saw reigning champions 147 A visit last year's runners up Chieftain Lochiel. After losing the first frame Chieftain Lochiel turned it round to go into a 6-2 lead, only for the 147 A to fight back for a 6-6 draw. Elsewhere Chieftain A went top of the league after a 7-5 win over Innes Haugh.
147 B also maintained a 100 per cent record with a 9-3 win over the Raigmore A.
Newly promoted Innes Haugh and Raigmore A still looking for their first points of the season. Chieftain C are the other team with two wins out of two after they won 7-5 away to 147 E.
Finally 147 D had an 8-4 win over Chieftain B.
In the First division, Smithton won 9-3 away to Raigmore Badgers, which sees them top of the table with two wins from two. Dows n Out won 7-5 at home to Imperial and Innes Fireballs started their campaign with 6-6 draw against Dows to a T.
