The game, which takes place on Saturday 13th August, was originally scheduled to kick-off at 3pm, but that has now been changed to 12.45pm.

Meanwhile, trialist Jamie Stevenson was part of an 18-man Caley Thistle squad that flew to England yesterday afternoon for a spell of three friendlies in five days south of the border.

Yeovil Town are first up tonight for Inverness, who then face Bristol Rovers two days later. The trip finishes with a friendly at Aldershot on Saturday.

“We’re not taking a big squad, but I’m hoping that a couple of players will be joining us while we are down there,” said manager Terry Butcher, who revealed that Alex Cooper has left the club following a short spell on trial.

“We’ll be based at Bath University, where the facilities are great, and I’m sure it will be a good bonding exercise, particularly with the season approaching quickly.”

Shane Sutherland, who has a back problem, is the latest Caley Thistle player not to make the trip. Gregory Tade, Lee Cox, Graeme Shinnie and youngster Jack Sutherland were already ruled out due to injury.
