Stuart Kettlewell needed to change his focus when he took over Ross County's first team

Though he’s only a couple of years into his coaching career, Stuart Kettlewell has already covered a lot of bases at Ross County.

He played for the Staggies for five years then took over County’s under 20s, guiding them to title glory in the SPFL Development League.

Now he finds himself in charge of the first team as co-manager with Steven Ferguson, in the midst of a relegation battle as County look to save their Premiership status.

And Kettlewell says he was forced to adjust his primary focus on the training pitch as he took over coaching the senior squad.

"With the Under 20s you’re trying to build individuals, you’re trying to progress individuals and develop players.
