The Scottish Football Association disciplinary committee dismissed the appeal from the club at a tribunal hearing at Hampden today.

Keatings was sent off in the second half of the 2–1 win against Rangers Colts at the Caledonian Stadium on Sunday when referee Greg Aitken gave him a second yellow card for simulation.

Television replays appeared to indicate that Rangers Colts defender Ciaran Dickson did body check Keatings which lead him going to ground.

But the disciplinary committee stood by the referee's original decision.

It means Keatings will miss the Challenge Cup final against Raith Rovers on Saturday, March 28.

Caley Thistle will be making a statement to the outcome later today.
