JACKSON Irvine has signed for Ross County on a permanent deal after leaving Celtic.
The Australian midfielder has signed a two-year deal in Dingwall after the club agreed an undisclosed fee with champions Celtic.
After impressing manager Jim McIntyre during a season-long loan spell in the last campaign, he becomes the 12th signing of the summer for County, following the arrival of Austrian goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann on loan from Stoke City at the weekend.
A popular figure during his time at the Global Energy Stadium last season, Irvine made 27 appearances for the Staggies and added two goals.
Often deployed in central midfield alongside Martin Woods, the 22-year-old also slotted in at the back when required by McIntyre.
Irvine will be eligible for the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership opener against former club Celtic on Saturday given the deal is a permanent one.
