The Inverness-born talent, who started his rugby journey at Highland RFC, has been named on the bench for the match, which kicks off at 3.15pm on Saturday.

It marks a return to the international fold for the 22-year-old scrum half, who was first called up to the senior national squad during the 2021 Six Nations.

He had to be patient for an opportunity on the pitch, though, finally making his debut against Tonga in an Autumn International that October.

Ahead of last season with Glasgow Warriors, Dobie spent time in New Zealand with Bay of Plenty to gain some experience on the other side of the world, but saw his early season back in Scotland disrupted by injury.

On his return, he filled in on occasion on the wing, but featured regularly as the Warriors reached a European Challenge Cup final –including starring performances away at Perpignon and Munster, where Glasgow won for the first time since 2014.
