Inverness Harriers teenagers celebrate at Nairn in North Cross Country League

INVERNESS Harriers enjoyed success in the first round of the North Cross Country League at Nairn last weekend.

The club achieved success in winning the under-11 girls, under-13 girls, under-15 girls and under-17 girls races.

Niamh Docherty claimed victory in the under-11 girls’ race with a time of seven minutes and 16 seconds.

Lexi Macrae was third in a time of 7.56.

Anna Meek won the under-13 girls race with a time of 15.54. Aoibhe Doorley was second in 17.32 with Isla Burns third in a time of 17.41.

Lois Macrae claimed victory in the under-15 girls’ race in a time of 19.42.

Katie Meek took victory in the under-17 race with a time of 20.34.
