ORGANISERS behind the top golf tournament in Inverness have said it will not go ahead this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Inverness Four Day Open at Inverness Golf Club is set to be officially cancelled within the coming days.
The event was due to take place at the Culcabock course from Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 9, with the Three Ball Better Ball Open due to take place on Friday, July 10.
But tournament chairman Gary Warburton confirmed this week that the Four Day Open would not take place this year.
He said the decision would be finalised by the golf club committee shortly.
