Inverness Craig Dunain thrashed by Kinloss Eagles

INVERNESS Craig Dunain are still looking for their first win in Caledonia North Three after they were thrashed 80-24 by league leaders Kinloss Eagles at Canal Park on Saturday.

Craig Dunain’s defence was unable to cope with the Eagles’ attack as they romped to victory with 13 tries.

ICD did manage to get on the scoreboard by grabbing four tries of their own to earn a bonus point for some consolation.

Inverness Craig Dunain Women suffered their first defeat of the season in Caledonia North Region One as they were thrashed 54-5 by Shetland Valkyries at Clickimin.

ICD women remain top of the North League by two points from Shetland who have a game in hand on the leaders.

At Invergordon, Ross Sutherland maintained their undefeated home record in Caledonia North Two when they earned a bonus point victory with a 36-24 win over Shetland.

The victory has moved Ross Sutherland up to fifth place in the table, having won all four matches at home this season.

In the other match in Caledonia North Two last week, Banff defeated RAF Lossiemouth 17-10.

No Highland RFC teams were in action.
