Inverness brothers win kickboxing gold at British National Championships in Nottingham

INVERNESS brothers Aidan and Ciaran Lennan both won kickboxing gold at the WAKO British National Championships in Nottingham.

The duo, who train with Wolfpack Martial Arts in Livingston, proved too good as they picked up British titles.

Aidan (14) took gold in the older cadets age 13-15 section in -57kg Light Contact and Kick Light and a bronze in the same age -63kg Points Fighting.

Ciaran (11) took gold in the younger cadets age 10-12 -32kg Light Contact and Silver in Points Fighting.

The brothers are now both eligible to qualify to be part of the WAKO GB team for the WAKO World Championships which will be held in Dublin in September.

The duo have been trained at HMAC Inverness under coach Mitchell Flett and also travel every Saturday to Livingston to train under coach Kevin Baldwin at Wolfpack Martial Arts and also twice weekly under coach Amanda Croall at Highland Elite Sports Academy.
