INVERNESS Athletic have suffered an injury blow as midfielder Jack Wardrop will be out for several weeks.

Inverness Athletic face Bonar Bridge tomorrow.

He suffered bruised ribs in the 4–0 victory against Bonar Bridge last weekend at Muir of Ord.

However manager Jason Golabek has been boosted by the news Ryan Keil will return from a groin injury but Ross Munro is still out with bruised ribs.

Athletic are only two points behind league leaders Nairn County after their 4–0 win against Bonar Bridge.

But Golabek was far from pleased with the performance from his players.

“I was pleased with the three points but not with the performance,” he said.

“I thought we were sloppy at times.

“We didn’t pass great and there was a lot I wasn’t happy with.

“There was positives but there was a lot more negatives.”

Bonar Bridge suffered a heavy 9–0 defeat to Alness United and 7–3 loss to Nairn County A this campaign.

But Golabek gave their opponents credit for how well they played against them at Pavilion Park.

“They were a lot stronger than the last time we played them. They were a lot more organised and had a lot of young boys as well,” he said. “On another day it could have been different as they had a few chances in the first half.

“If they had gone in we’d might not have gone away with a win.

“So 4–0 might have flattered us a wee bit last week if i’m being honest.”

Golabek says he is looking for players to be more focused than last week.

“I want to see a better attitude, better passing, better decision making, better mentality,” he said.

“I want us to see us be better in every department compared to last week.

“From defence, to midfield, to attack, I am looking for us to be a better team.”
