HIGHLAND have several squads in serious competition tomorrow after several postponements last weekend.

The first-team’s game against Stornoway last Saturday fell victim to the weather, so they are very keen to get tomorrow’s league fixture with Garioch played.

A victory will place the league title within Highland’s grasp, while almost certainly knocking Garioch out of the hunt, and head coach Davie Carson has a nice problem on his hands.

He has a full-strength side to choose from and will confirm his starting line-up and bench after last night’s training session.

Numbers at training have been good and Tuesday’s session showed that the players are ready for an important game, despite not having recent match time.

The hosts are in a similar situation and they know they need a win to have any chance of overhauling Highland.

The club have arranged a large bus to take the squad to Inverurie and there are plenty of seats available for supporters to travel.

Any club members or supporters wanting to make the trip simply need to meet the bus at the Matalan car park at 10am on tomorrow morning. Contact the club beforehand to book a seat.

Highland’s under-18s are also on the road tomorrow as they travel to play Dunfermline in their rearranged Caledonia Cup quarter-final.

John Carson’s troops have had a good season so far, but need a win to keep it going. This will be a tough match even though they had a good victory over their opponents at Canal Park earlier in the season.

The under-16s are in cup action as they travel to play Falkirk in the semi-final on Sunday. Highland will be keen to take on tough opposition as the reward is a final to be played at Canal Park.

The minis and micros have a change of pace of Sunday as they travel up to Caithness for a tournament.
