It will be the first meeting between the sides since May 2004, when Caley Thistle won 2-1 thanks to goals from Liam Keogh and Steve Hislop.

They have also never faced each other in knockout competition, with all 24 of the matches the two teams have played coming in league action.

Clyde made it into the last-eight with a 2-0 win over Championship side Arbroath, having beaten Queen of the South in the third round.

Inverness have so far defeated Alloa Athletic and Greenock Morton as they look to lift the Challenge Cup for the second time in three seasons.

Quarter final ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 16 and are subject to TV selections.

Full draw:

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Clyde

Raith Rovers v Elgin City

Solihull Moors/Rangers Colts v Wrexham

Stenhousemuir v Partick Thistle
