Scotland's best schoolboy talent will go up against their counterparts from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland between February and April next year.

There will be Inverness interest in the matches, too, as both Jamie Carnihan and Aaron Nicolson have been picked for the Scottish squad.

Both teenagers have featured for the Caley Thistle first team in Challenge Cup matches, with Carnihan coming on as a late substitute against Raith Rovers last weekend before playing against Hamilton a couple of weeks ago.

Nicolson lead the line at New Douglas Park that day, but his senior debut came last month in a Championship match away at Queen's Park, and he was also thrown on in the defeat to Dundee at the start of this month.
